Bloomberg News has hired Morten Buttler as a reporter for its Copenhagen bureau.
He will start in August.
Buttler is currently a reporter in Brussels covering politics, markets and business at Børsen, a Danish business daily.
“I am extremely grateful for my time as correspondent in Brussels and the people I have been surrounded with in Brussels and at Børsen,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “Never boring and always an absolute pleasure. Thank you!”
He previously worked as a business reporter for Nordiske Medier in Copenhagen and interned at Bloomberg News in New York.
He holds a master’s degree in journalism from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism in New York with a focus on business and economics reporting.
