Bloomberg News has hired Daniel Avis to cover the Israel economy and government.
He will be based in Tel Aviv and work closely with Bloomberg colleagues there and across the Middle East.
Avis previously spent five years with the BBC, working as a broadcast journalist for “Newshour,” the BBC’s flagship international news program.
He interned on the financial regulation team at Bloomberg in New York and holds a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
