Bloomberg Gadfly hires WSJ’s Trivedi

Anjani Trivedi

Bloomberg Gadfly editors Tim O’Brien and Paul Sillitoe sent the following note to the staff.

Greetings Folks:
Paul Sillitoe and I are pleased to let you know that Anjani Trivedi, a Heard on the Street columnist with the Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong, will be joining Gadfly as a columnist covering industrial companies across the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to joining Heard about two years ago, Anjani covered Asian currency and debt markets as a reporter for the Journal. She has also worked for Time, the New York Times, and CNN. Before venturing into journalism, Anjani spent about a year working as an investment analyst for the International Finance Corporation and two years as an analyst with UBS.
Anjani also has a mathematics degree from MIT and a masters in journalism from the University of Hong Kong. She lives in Hong Kong with her husband and son.
She’ll start with us on April 3. Please welcome her aboard.
Best,
Tim and Paul
