Rachel Evans, a reporter covering exchange traded funds at Bloomberg News, is becoming managing editor of its global foreign exchange and rates team.
She will start her new job on Feb. 18.
Evans has been at Bloomberg since September 2011. Before covering ETFs, she covered structured finance and securitization for the corporate finance team, writing news on origination, structuring and regulation, as well as bigger thought pieces on what these securities tell us about the wider economy. She also covered companies’ plans to sell dollar or local-currency debt to investors in Asia.
She previously worked at EuroWeek Asia as deputy editor and the International Financial Law Review as a staff writer and then Asia editor.
