Current Bloomberg employees who joined before Jan 1, 2013, are being rewarded for the company hitting $10 billion in organic revenue in 2018, a new annual revenue record.
Eligible employees were notified last week and will receive an extra bonus in March on top of their regular annual bonus to mark the achievement.
Almost half of the Bloomberg LP’s nearly 20,000 employees are eligible. They were notified last week of the bonus and of the company hitting $10 billion in revenue in 2018.
Bloomberg first announced in 2008 that it believed it could reach $10 billion in annual revenue by 2014. Employees of the company, which owns the Bloomberg Terminal technology, Bloomberg News and Bloomberg Businessweek magazine, receive a progress report at the end of each year.
