Chloe Whiteaker, a data visualization journalist in Bloomberg’s Washington bureau, is moving to its Hong Kong office next month.
Whiteaker will be working on a team in Hong Kong with Hannah Dormido and Adrien Leung.
She has been with Bloomberg since May 2011, first as a graphic designer with Bloomberg Government for a year and then with Bloomberg News.
Whiteaker coordinated with Bloomberg’s investigative reporters to create cross-platform data visualizations for the projects and investigations news team.
For the past few years, she has been on the Bloomberg Graphics team. Her work has appeared on the Bloomberg terminal, Bloomberg.com and Businessweek.com.
She is a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate who interned and freelanced for Reuters before joining Bloomberg.
