Sam Grobart has been hired as the new executive editor of CNN Tech based in New York.
Grobart joins CNN from Bloomberg Businessweek where he was a writer and managing editor of Bloomberg’s digital video team.
Prior to that, Grobart was the personal technology editor and assistant technology editor at The New York Times. He was also vice president and managing editor of the now-defunct personal finance website FiLife.com.
Grobart was also a senior editor at Money magazine and a news editor at The Wall Street Journal. He also worked at New York Magazine, Esquire and Popular Science.
He is a Kenyon College graduate.
