Bloomberg BNA’s Massoglia returning to Center for Responsive Politics

Bloomberg BNA staffer Anna Massoglia will be rejoining the Center for Responsive Politics as the political nonprofits and foreign influence researcher to help launch a new “dark money” project and work on the Foreign Lobby Watch tool.

Since May 2017, she has worked as a research analyst at Bloomberg BNA, where she was an editor and writer of Bloomberg Tax’s international payroll publications.

Prior to joining Bloomberg BNA in May 2017, she was the political nonprofits researcher at the Center for Responsive Politics.

Massoglia holds a J.D. from the University of the District of Columbia School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in American politics and second bachelor’s degree in psychology with honors.

She was one of 200 participants invited by the White House to contribute ideas and opinions at the United State of Young Women Forum in support of the 2016 United State of Women Summit. Her work has been featured in major publications in the U.S. and abroad, including the Huffington Post, the Hill, and various professional journals.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
