Bloomberg appoints Jones as ME of Australia and New Zealand

Rebecca Jones

Rebecca Jones is now managing editor for Australia and New Zealand at Bloomberg News.

Previously, she was Melbourne bureau chief.

Jones has been with the organization for almost 15 years. She has held various roles, including editor, U.S. breaking news; team leader, Southeast Asia and Oceania breaking news; editor, First Word Asia and editor, Asia equities; Asia lead for news curation.

She is also a NGV business council member at National Gallery of Victoria and an industry mentor at RMIT University. She was also a member at UN Women National Committee Australia.

Jones has also worked as a news editor at Australian Associated Press and was news editor, Money Management & Super Review Magazine at Reed Elsevier PLC.

Jones is a graduate of Monash University.
