Julia Ritchey, a business reporter at the Savannah Morning News, has left the paper.
Ritchey had been with the
Before Savannah, Ritchey was assistant editor and arts and entertainment editor for Mountain Xpress in Asheville, N.C. She also spent seven months as a freelance journalist in Senegal, reporting on politics, culture, the environment and human rights in Anglophone and Francophone West Africa for radio outlets and publications such as the Voice of America and The Daily Beast.
Ritchey also worked full time at Voice of America from September 2008 to October 2010.
She is a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate.
