Nancy Dahlberg, the Business Monday editor at the Miami Herald, has accepted a buyout and is leaving the paper after 17 years on the business news desk.
No replacement has been named yet. Dahlberg has also been an assistant business editor and Sunday business editor at the paper. Before that, she was an assistant business editor at the San Jose Mercury News.
Dahlberg writes, “I will miss working with a superb business staff, of course, and I’d like to thank Brenda Krebs for being a first-rate assistant. I will also miss talking business with so many of you on the phone or at community events.
“The Herald is lucky to have so many passionate business readers, and it’s been a wonderful learning experience hearing about all the fascinating businesses out there. Unfortunately it’s impossible to tell all your stories, but I hope you found the selections in Business Monday to be enlightening, entertaining and reflective of South Florida’s eclectic, exciting economy.”
