Biz journalists who move the market

U.S. News & World Report lists the top 25 people who move the stock market and four of them appear on CNBC or Fox Business Network.

CNBC “Mad Money” host Jim Cramer is No. 14, while CNBC anchor Maria Bartiromo is No. 22. Fox Business Network’s Neil Cavuto is No. 23, while CNBC’s Larry Kudlow is No. 24.

About Cavuto, U.S. News stated, “Fox’s Neil Cavuto has seen his profile rise as the financial crisis rages and the economy swoons. A familiar face on both the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, he’s the network’s unapologetic free-market voice.”

The magazine stated this about Bartiromo: “Bartiromo, who got her start at CNN, became, in 1995, the first financial journalist to give live reports from the middle of the New York Stock Exchange. She has gone on to anchor her own CNBC shows.”
