Biz journalists to follow on Twitter

Simon Constable writes on Forbes.com about the best business journalists to follow on Twitter.

Here are some of his recommendations:

@vicrek — Victor Reklaitis, markets journalist at MarketWatch. Writes snappy posts on stocks and exchange-traded funds. A gentleman to the core.

@LaurenLaCapra – Lauren La Capra, (right) journalist with Fusion, previously with Reuters and TheStreet. Very knowledgable and highly capable. Wondering what she’ll come up with at her new gig with Fusion.

@jennablan – Jennifer Ablan, editor of US investments & strategic investors at Reuters. Tweets so much its a wonder she does anything else. Always a good selection of interesting stories.

@BrettArends — Brett Arends, columnist for MarketWatch. Highly entertaining on investing topics. One-time McKinsey consultant.

  • Refreshing to see list that doesn't include Heidi Moore. She spends too much time fighting with people who don't agree with her. The best biz journalists remember that their publication is the main brand and their knowledge is important. Too many people forget that without the publication behind them, their brand is nearly worthless. Only a handful of people truly become a recognizable name.
