Larry Madowo has joined BBC World as U.S. correspondent. He wrote,
“Some personal news. A year after I took a career break, I’m back to reporting. I’m doing a new thing as a US correspondent, covering this pivotal moment in America for the BBC News and BBC World Service. My first story, from inside a Covid-19 ICU, airs today across the BBC.”
Previously, Madowo was Africa business editor for BBC before he announced he was taking a break for his fellowship at Columbia Journalism School.
Madowo has also worked at Nation Media Group as a business reporter, technology editor and anchor.
In addition, he has also served as business presenter and producer at CNBC Africa and was a business reporter for The Standard Group Ltd.
Madowo graduated from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism with a M.A. in business and economics.
