Longtime business journalist Noelle Knox is returning to Bloomberg News, where she worked more than 20 years ago.
Knox has been hired as an editor on the Europe, Middle East and Africa telecom and media team based in London. She starts June 4.
Knox most recently was at Politico Europe, where she was tech editor.
Before joining Politico Europe, Knox was editor of the CFO Journal at The Wall Street Journal. She joined Politico Europe in April 2015.
She has more than 20 years of journalism experience in newspapers, magazines, TV, radio and online. She has also worked for The Associated Press, USA Today, The New York Times, Bloomberg News, and The Detroit News.
Knox has been interviewed on CBS News, CNBC and CSPAN, among others. Knox has reported news from 16 foreign countries and a dozen U.S. states. She has covered the U.S. real estate and financial crisis, the Sept. 11 attacks on New York, the death of Pope John Paul II from the Vatican, NATO operations from Afghanistan, and the dot-com bust of 2000.
She holds a degree in economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
