Ryan Schuster, the former business editor of the Grand Forks Herald and editor of Prairie Business magazine in North Dakota, has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as an editor in the communications department.
“Born in Minneapolis, Schuster grew up in southwestern Wisconsin. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in mass communications from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
“Before joining BCBSND, Schuster spent more than a decade in the journalism field, working as a reporter and editor for newspapers in Florida, California and North Dakota. He most recently worked as business editor and business reporter of the Grand Forks Herald during a four-year stint with the newspaper. During his tenure with the Herald, Schuster also served as editor of Prairie Business magazine, which is owned by the Herald, and as the newspaper’s assistant online editor.”
