Biz journalism course in London offered by Reuters

Journalists in developing or transition countries are eligible for a June 12 to 23 course in London on writing business news. There is no published deadline, but space is limited.

The Reuters Foundation is organizing the course, to be conducted in English by experienced Reuters news agency journalists. Applicants should have at least two years of working experience.

The course emphasizes gathering and presenting news, and it includes simulated economic scenarios and practical reporting exercises. It also offers expertise on national and international financial markets.

Selected applicants may receive assistance for travel, lodging and living expenses during the course. For more information, or to apply online: http://www.foundation.reuters.com/journalism/diary.asp.
