Paul Mullaney, the business editor of the Munster Times newspaper in northwest Indiana, has been promoted to managing editor, according to a story in Sunday’s paper.
“‘Paul brings all the traits of an accomplished journalist to his new role plus his long-standing knowledge of our community,’ said William Nangle, Times executive editor. ‘He is the ideal fit to manage the day-to-day operations of The Times newsroom.'”
Benman later reported that Bill Bero, 54, has been appointed business editor for The Times. He currently edits the Times publication BusINess magazine.
