Real Times Media, which owns Black newspapers across the country, has tapped Alan Hughes as a contributing editor.
Hughes has been serving as chief content officer at Hughes Communications Consulting , a content creation and content marketing firm, focusing on financial services and fintech.
He also developed content for television, print, online, and live events with a focus on business and finance for Black Enterprise.
Hughes was an editor at BusinessWeek Online, where he covered the financial markets and wrote a twice-weekly overview of the stock and bond markets for the publication’s website. He was also a financial reporter at Standard & Poor’s.
Hughes is a graduate of Rutgers University and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
