The Birmingham Business Journal has hired A.J. O’Leary to cover the banking and legal beat.
Managing editor Angel Coker writes, “O’Leary most recently was managing editor of the Altavista Journal in Virginia where he wrote and edited content for Altavista, Brookneal and all of Campbell County. He began that role in July 2020.
“While at the Virginia newspaper, O’Leary provided coverage of everything from sports to government to breaking news and everything in between. He also took photographs and handled multimedia efforts.
