Elisângela Mendonça has joined The Bureau of Investigative Journalism as an environment reporter.
Mendonça is an award-winning journalist with over 10 years’ experience in reporting, production, research, fact-checking and PR.
Most recently, she was a reporter at Dow Jones, covering news and features for Private Equity News and Financial News.
Her bylines have also appeared in The Intercept Brazil, Thompson Reuters Foundation, America’s Quarterly and more.
She was a Latin America producer at The Globe and Mail and a Latin America biofuels editor at Argus Media.
Mendonça holds a master’s degree in international journalism from City, University of London.
