Travis J. Tritten has been hired as a senior reporter at Bloomberg Government.
Tritten, who was a defense and national security reporter at the Examiner, will cover defense and national security coverage at the Pentagon.
At the Examiner, where he worked since March 2017, Tritten helped compile the “Daily on Defense” newsletter. He has 15 years of experience reporting on the military, government and politics in the United States and abroad.
Previously he was the Capitol Hill reporter at Stars and Stripes newspaper and spent seven years as the Japan correspondent, where he covered the 2011 earthquake and nuclear disaster, the Iraq War and anti-terrorism operations in the Philippines.
Tritten also worked for the Key West Citizen and the Myrtle Beach Sun News.
