Beyoud, Dean awarded NPF fellowships to Wharton Biz seminars

Lydia Beyoud

Lydia Beyoud, a fintech and financial services reporter for Bloomberg Law, and Sam Dean, a tech reporter for the Los Angeles Times, have been awarded the National Press Foundation’s fellowships to attend the Wharton School of Business’s seminars for business journalists.

Beyoud has been with Bloomberg Law for two years. Prior to that, she worked as tech, media and telecom reporter for Event Driven News, and a senior tech and telecom reporter for Bloomberg BNA. Beyoud has a master’s degree in journalism and public affairs from American University.

Sam Dean

Dean has been with the Times for the last year and two months. He’s also written for MEL Magazine and Bon Appetit and served as a freelance copywriter for Penguin Group. Dean graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in English.
