The website says that it will “combine Bloomberg’s global leadership in business and financial news and data, with Quintillion Media’s deep expertise in the Indian market and digital news delivery, to provide high quality business news, insights and trends for India’s sophisticated audiences.”
Bloomberg announced the joint venture with Quintillion Media in April. Bloomberg has a minority stake in the deal, which is the first time the company has used a partner to expand using multiple media platforms. The joint venture will also include TV programming and live events.
The official launch of the site is expected in August or September. The joint venture is working to add more content and features to the site.
Earlier this year, Bloomberg ended a seven-year partnership in India with another media company.
