Award-winning tech and media writer Jeff Bercovici is jumping ship from Forbes to become the San Francisco bureau chief of Inc., reports Keith Kelly of the New York Post.
Kelly writes, “Bercovici, who has the current Forbes cover story on Pinterest, has been at Forbes for a little over four years, but only moved to San Francisco in February.
“‘I’ll be doing some writing and editing,’ he said.
“Jim Ledbetter, Inc.’s editor, said Bercovici is replacing Nicole Carter, who took a communications job at Apple.
“The magazine, which recently celebrated its 35th anniversary, is among the few business titles that seems to be thriving this year — with single-copy sales up 45.4 percent, to 49,751, in the first half and total circulation up 7.2 percent, to 794,658.”
