Jon Bell, the commercial real estate reporter at the Portland Business Journal, is leaving the Oregon publication.
His last day is Nov. 1. He has been at the American City Business Journals paper since March 2015.
Bell is going to work for a communications firm in Portland called Gard Communications.
Bell wrote approximately 500 stories in 2018 that garnered more than 1 million total page views and 740,000 visits. He also produced a twice-weekly email newsletter with 9,000 subscribers and a daily newsletter with 19,000 subscribers.
He is the author of a book about Mount Hood and also worked for the Portland Tribune.
