Beeke appointed publisher of the Portland Business Journal

Candace Beeke

Candace Beeke has been named publisher and market president of the Portland Business Journal, effective Sept. 8.

She has held the post of publisher at Albuquerque Business First since 2015. She will replace Craig Wessel, who has led the Portland publication for 20 years.

She was also editor-in-chief of Houston Business Journal and served as editor at both Influence West Michigan and Business Review West Michigan. She was also adjunct faculty at Western Michigan University and was an intern at Denso Manufacturing Michigan, Inc.

Beeke is a B.A. in journalism from Western Michigan University.
