Sarah Corker will be joining ITV News as a social affairs correspondent, based in the North of England.
Her new role begins in March.
Currently, she is a business presenter and reporter at BBC News/BBC Radio 5 Live. Corker has been with the BBC for over 12 years, previously serving as a consumer affairs correspondent and home affairs correspondent for BBC Network News.
Other roles she has held at the BBC, include news correspondent, business correspondent for BBC Look North, world affairs reporter, video journalist, broadcast and video journalist, and broadcast journalist.
She was also a Headline Money Awards finalist – Broadcast Journalist of the Year.
Corker earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nottingham and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Sheffield.
