Suzanne Barlyn is starting coverage of financial enforcement from New York, effective today. Suzanne will cover the supervisory and enforcement activities of the New York Department of Financial Services and will handle breaking news on the enforcement activities of the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission. She will draw on her deep experience covering compliance and securities arbitration as well as her legal background for this role.
Suzanne will work closely with the white-collar crime team, based in New York and Washington, in breaking news about malfeasance at banks and financial institutions. She reports to Charles Levinson, Wall Street Investigations Editor.
