Adrian Garcia has been hired by Bankrate as a data reporter in New York.
Garcia is a print and online journalist who has covered business and data stories in Colorado. Most recently he worked for a startup in Denver, Denverite.com, backed by the founder of Business Insider.
He previously covered trends, startup news and developments as a growth and data reporter for the legacy newspaper The Fort Collins Coloradoan.
Garcia joined the Coloradoan in 2014 after graduating with a journalism degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In 2016, he participated in ProPublica’s inaugural summer data institute.
