Megan Harney has been hired by personal finance site Bankrate.com as an audience development editor.
Harney came from Business Insider, where she was distribution editor since January. She previously had been the associate distribution editor.
Harney previously worked as a freelance reporter for the Irish Echo.
She is a graduate of Fairfield University. While in college, she interned for Cosmopolitan’s website. She also interned for Good Housekeeping.
