Bank Director magazine has hired Kiah Haslett to be its managing editor.
She starts on March 25.
“I am thrilled to be joining Bank Director,” said Haslett. “I’ve always admired its people and how the magazine covers the banking industry. It seems like the perfect place for a ‘bank nerd’ like me.”
Haslett has been a banking reporter for S&P Global Market Intelligence since 2011. She wrote a variety of articles covering topics that affect U.S. financial institutions, from breaking news to earnings stories to in-depth data driven pieces.
Her work used S&P Global’s database of regulatory and financial information to inform and drive proprietary reporting for clients such as analysts, investment bankers, lawyers, consultants and bankers. She also represented S&P Global at industry and trade events, reporting on the scene and interacting with known and potential sources.
Haslett is a University of Nebraska graduate.
