Baltimore Sun brings back standalone business section on Tuesdays

The Baltimore Sun, which dropped its standalone business section nearly two years ago, has brought back a business section in the Tuesday paper called “Maryland Business.”

The moves comes after the Sun brought back a Sunday business section called “Business & Jobs” in February.

“Maryland Business” will be an update on the week’s business news, with a focus on regional businesses and issues. It will include coverage of health care, legal, technology, automotive and biotech industries.

The Sun had cut its standalone “Money & Life” section on Sundays in late 2008. The standalone business section during the week had been cut earlier that year.

The paper added two other new sections to the paper. Read more here.
