Divya Balji has become an Americas stocks team leader for Bloomberg News.
The other Americas stocks team leader is Kristine Owram.
Balji has been in Canada for the past year writing about a variety of topics, including markets. She previously was a team leader for Asia markets, managing a team of over 20 equities reporters and editors and oversee coverage for the Asia Pacific region including Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Japan, and South Korea.
She has been at Bloomberg since June 2012, initially working as a First Word reporter.
Balji previously worked for Mergermarket.
