I’m pleased to announce that Liana Baker has taken on a new role in the U.S. deals team covering shareholder activism and corporate governance . Before joining the Reuters deals team in 2014, Liana was a corporate reporter on the media and cable companies beats. She also reported from the Pyeongchang Winter Games in February, her second Olympics reporting stint for Reuters after Rio de Janeiro. She joined Reuters in 2010 after graduating from Northwestern University with an undergraduate degree in journalism.
