Mary Ann Azevedo, a reporter for Crunchbase News in Austin, Texas, is leaving for a job at Housing Wire.
She will start on June 22 and be Housing Wire’s fintech editor.
Azevedo was hired as a senior reporter for Crunchbase in October 2018 after working for the publication as a freelancer for 18 months.
“I am honored to have covered such a wide variety of topics and interviewed so many smart and fascinating people. I will always treasure my time here,” she wrote on Twitter.
Azevedo has worked for the Houston Business Journal covering technology and health care, as well as a stint as its assistant managing editor. She also worked for the Silicon Valley Business Journal covering real estate.
She has also been a regular contributor to the San Francisco Business Times, Crain’s, The Network, Venture Capital Journal and SpareFoot.
