Shannon Vavra, who covered breaking news and cybersecurity for Axios, has been hired by CyberScoop as a staff reporter focused on the National Security Administration, U.S. Cyber Command, and cyberwarfare.
She will begin on April 15.
Vavra has been with Axios since its launch, covering a number of different topics including political news, tech, cybersecurity and foreign affairs.
Prior to joining Axios she spent time at the State Department.
Vavra is a graduate of Tufts University, where she was editor of the student newspaper.
