Axios hires Markay as political reporter

Lachlan Markay

Lachlan Markay has joined Axios as a political reporter covering campaign finance and political influence.

Previously, Markay was an investigative reporter at The Daily Beast. He has also served as a staff writer at The Washington Free Beacon and was an investigative reporter at The Heritage Foundation. He has also worked as a client services associate at Dialog New Media.

Markay has also served as a web intern at The Washington Examiner and was a CongressNow reporter at Roll Call.

Markay is a B.A. in government from Hamilton College.
