Hope King
Business journalist Hope King has been hired by Axios as a reporter.
She started on Monday.
“At Axios, I’ll focus on breaking stories at the nexus of capital markets, leadership, and emerging industries: Space, energy, mobility, and digital marketplaces and jobs are exploding,” she wrote on Twitter.
Last year, King started a newsletter called “Unemployed Together.”
King left business news streaming service Cheddar in May 2020 after being there for four years. She joined in October 2016 from CNN, where she was a tech reporter, to help launch its closing bell show.
She also worked at Business Insider. Before journalism, King worked at Merrill Lynch, where she was vice president of business development and product management.
