Here is the first one: The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants has announced its annual Excellence in Financial Journalism Award competition to recognize reporters from the national and local media who contribute to a better understanding of business topics.
The Society presents awards in print, radio, television, wire service and electronic media published or broadcast between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2005. Deadline for entries is Feb. 1, 2006. An application for the Excellence in Financial Journalism Award can be obtained at the Society’s website, www.nysscpa.org in the Press Room.
