Automotive News veteran Versical retires

David Versical

David Versical, director of editorial operations at Automotive News, has retired.

In this role, he oversaw Automotive News, Automotive News Europe, Automotive News Canada, including their online operations, as well as Automotive News TV and Automotive News China.

He is also the founding editor of its Fixed Ops Journal and was president of Automotive Press Association in 2018-2019.

Versical has been with Automotive News since 1986, serving as reporter, national editor, managing editor, US transportation team leader and editor for Automotive News Online. Before that, he was a reporter and business editor at Oakland Press.
