Auto journalist Levin to host show on Sirius

Well-known automotive journalist Doron Levin will begin hosting a SiriusXM show called “In the Driver’s Seat.”

“In the Driver’s Seat” will premiere on Aug. 29, at noon ET, and will be broadcast Saturdays at noon from Detroit, home of the global automotive industry, with an encore broadcast Sundays at 9 a.m. ET.

A prominent award-winning journalist, Levin has covered the auto industry from Detroit since 1984 for The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Detroit Free Press, Bloomberg, and Fortune.  He has also written two influential books about the industry, “Irreconcilable Differences; Ross Perot vs. GM” and “Behind the Wheel at Chrysler: The Iacocca Legacy.”

“SiriusXM is opening an exciting portal for listeners who are attracted to subjects as varied as autonomous driving, traffic safety and fuel efficiency-as well as for those who are just crazy about cars, old and new,” said Levin in a statement. “I’m thrilled and honored to collaborate with the pioneers of satellite radio.”
