Justin Sayers has joined the Austin Business Journal to cover economic development in the suburbs of one of the country’s fastest-growing metro areas.
Sayers was previously a reporter at the weekly Park Labrea News and Beverly Press newspaper. He was also a local government reporter at Arizona Daily Star.
He has also served as a breaking news reporter, Southern Indiana communities reporter, general assignment reporter, and sports reporter at the Courier Journal.
He has written business and public safety stories as a Pulliam fellow at The Arizona Republic.
He served as a public affairs reporter/data team at Arizona Sonora News Service and as a Dow Jones News Fund sports editing intern at The Hartford Courant.
He has interned at Inside Tucson Business. Sayers is a B.A. in journalism and a M.A. in journalism from the University of Arizona.
