Kathryn Hardison has been hired by the Austin Business Journal to cover economic development.
A story on its website states, “Hardison will be firmly planted at the intersection of the public and private sectors — covering local city halls, economic development corporations and longstanding storylines such as Austin’s mammoth attempt to overhaul zoning citywide. She will report online as the news comes, and subscribers can see her work curated in the Economic Insight section of the weekly edition.
“‘I’m thrilled to be covering the economic development of a booming city like Austin,’ Hardison said. ‘I’m eager to hit the ground running and report on some of the largest issues facing the business community. Though we can’t meet in person, I’m eager to connect virtually with all people involved in the region’s development.’
“She most recently was a reporter for the Springfield Business Journal in Missouri, which is not affiliated with ABJ parent American City Business Journals. Hardison earned her journalism degree from the University of Missouri.”
