Tim Rausch has been named the new business editor at the Augusta Chronicle, according to a short story on Friday. He replaces Damon Cline, who has left the paper.
Rausch has been a business reporter with the Chronicle since April 2007. Before that, he was business editor at The Lima News in Lima, Ohio.
The story stated, “”Tim has done an excellent job reporting on local finance, industry, development and consumer issues,’ said Managing Editor Elizabeth Adams. ‘He has strong relationships with local business leaders, and he regularly breaks important news. We look forward to the continuation of Tim’s high-quality coverage of economic issues that affect our community.’
“Mr. Rausch will direct local coverage forThe Chronicle’s daily business page, Sunday Business section and Monday’s Your Business section. He also provides blogs and breaking news updates for augustachronicle.com.”
