Atlanta paper will cut stock listings further

October 28, 2006

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution will cut its stock listings for the second time in a year, according to an item in public editor Angela Tuck’s column.

Mark BraykovichTuck wrote, “Beginning Nov. 4, the weekly stock listings inside the Saturday Business section will be reduced by one page. According to business editor Mark Braykovich, more readers now rely on the Internet to track stocks and mutual funds.

“The AJC will continue to list 1,200 stocks and another 1,500 mutual funds —- plus the ‘Market Mover’ page featuring a recap of the previous day’s action on Wall Street and other major financial markets, said Braykovich. Stock prices can be found at ajc.com/business.”
