Atlanta biz weekly syndicates content to Georgia paper

The Atlanta Business Chronicle is now providing content to The Dalton Daily Citizen, a paper about an hour outside of Atlanta.

Stories centering on business articles relevant to residents of the state will appear in the Monday Daily Citizen.

David Allison, the editor of the Atlanta Business Chronicle, told Talking Biz News that the partnership is a first for the American City Business Journals paper.

“Their publisher reached out to [Biz Chronicle publisher] Ed Baker earlier this year,” said Allison in an e-mail. “That was the genesis. Took them until now to get started.

“They basically can pull anything they need off of our web site as long as we get attribution,” he added. “We don’t currently have similar deals with other dailies but I’m sure we’re open to them. I’d love to have all the Georgia dailies outside metro Atlanta using our content.”
