Atlanta Biz Chronicle moving Suggs to sports and entertainment beat

The Atlanta Business Chronicle has moved Donnell Suggs to cover sports and entertainment.

He has been covering commercial real estate and development since joining the paper in May.

Suggs has been a staffer writer for The Southern Cross, a publication of the Catholic diocese in Savannah, Georgia. He was also sports editor of the Houston Home Journal in Perry, Georgia.

He has also been a contributor to South Atlanta magazine, Atlanta Tribune magazine, Atlanta Daily World, and ESPN’s The Undefeated.

Suggs is a graduate of the CUNY College of Technology.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
