Atlanta Biz Chronicle launches financial news blog, plans others

The Atlanta Business Chronicle has launched a new blog called “Dollars & Sense” that will cover the local financial community and plans to launch similar blogs in the coming weeks.

Banking and finance writer Joe Rauch writes, “The paper is launching a series of industry news blogs, updated regularly by the paper’s editorial staff, with content from a variety of beats that will pair with our existing breaking news Web presence.

“Dollars & Sense is the first to launch. Expect others in the coming weeks.

“You won’t find editorial opinion here. Instead, the site is designed to be an online one-stop shop of breaking news in the Atlanta financial world.

“Mortgage companies, banks, private equity, M&A, are all the sorts of things you’ll see, and probably some things we can’t predict right now.

“This local community area will be updated regularly with news items from our main page, along with content unique to this area of the site.”
