David Arnott, an editor on the national news desk for American City Business Journals, is leaving the company.
His last day is next Wednesday. Arnott said on Twitter that he is returning home to the San Francisco area.
Arnott has been a combination of editor, reporter and producer, overseeing the national home page and national social media accounts, as well as generating content on a national level.
He joined the company in 2007 and also worked in customer service and as a writer for The Sporting News when the company owned the sports publication.
Arnott has a bachelor’s degree in English and American literature from New York University and a master’s degree in education from the University of California-Santa Cruz.
